Position: Associate Laboratory Technician – First Shift

Duration: 2 Years

Compensation: $19.85/hr on W2

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm (to be discussed)

Role Overview

The Associate Laboratory Technician plays a crucial role in executing routine general chemistry evaluations and preparing samples according to established company or official protocols. This position also involves supporting administrative functions and conducting Good Laboratory Practices assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Receive, process, and monitor analytical sample requests.
  2. Engage with project managers to gather essential information.
  3. Coordinate testing with fellow analysts in the Analytical Section.
  4. Conduct routine chemical and physical assessments in-house.
  5. Oversee and maintain basic analytical instruments.
  6. Ensure the laboratory environment is safe and orderly.
  7. Document analytical results accurately.
  8. Adhere to the company’s Integrated Management System and all relevant policies and procedures.

Education & Qualifications

Educational Background

Associate degree or Bachelor of Science in a relevant scientific discipline with one year of related experience, or a High School Diploma (or GED) with three years of related experience.

Preferred Skills

Strong planning and organizational abilities.

Proficiency in executing analytical procedures and administrative duties accurately.

Effective communication skills.

Competence in computer applications (Microsoft Office).
