Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Flowers Community Living. As a PCA, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
Responsibilities- Assist with daily living activities, including grooming, feeding, and transferring, while promoting independence and dignity.
- Teach and support individuals with intellectual disabilities to develop essential life skills, such as meal preparation, medication management, and household maintenance.
- Collaborate with clients to create personalized care plans, addressing their unique needs and goals.
- Engage in community integration activities, promoting social interaction and inclusion.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to agency policies and regulations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform basic housekeeping duties, run errands, and prepare meals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Salary: $16 with no experience and $17.25 with 2 to 3 years of experience working with individuals with severe challenging behaviors.
