Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is one of the largest physician groups in the country, directly employing nearly 4,000 physicians and allied health professionals who provide services to NYC Health + Hospitals, the largest municipal healthcare system in the nation serving over a million New Yorkers annually.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' goals and medical conditions
- Perform surgical procedures, including facelifts, breast augmentations, liposuction, rhinoplasty, reconstructive surgeries, hand surgery, burn care, and other reconstructive procedures
- Use advanced surgical techniques and tools to achieve optimal results and minimize risks
- Provide post-operative care, including monitoring patients' recovery, prescribing medication, and addressing any complications or concerns
- Educate patients about each procedure and its risks, benefits, and potential outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as anesthesiologists and nurses, during surgical procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of all patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes
Requirements:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- Completion of a residency program in plastic surgery accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
- Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS)
- Valid NYS medical License
