Shuttle Driver

As a Shuttle Driver with US Foods, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our products to customers across the country. This is a unique opportunity to join a leading food distributor and be part of a team that is dedicated to making a difference in the communities we serve.

• Drive tractor trailers containing various products to and from remote dispatch sites
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
• May be called upon to perform duties of Backhaul or Delivery Driver

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
• 6 months commercial driving experience required
• Doubles endorsement required AND minimum 6 months driving with doubles endorsements preferred
• Must be comfortable working overnight
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.
