Job Summary:

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Coronado, California.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients to determine the nature and extent of dysfunction.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to achieve established goals.
  • Initiate discharge planning for occupational therapy.
  • Implement the treatment program through direct treatment of the patient.
  • Delegate tasks to supportive personnel as needed.
  • Coordinate treatment with other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide education and advice to patients and families.
  • Regularly assess clinical signs and symptoms to determine treatment effectiveness.
  • Discharge patients from occupational therapy when maximum benefit has been achieved.
  • Document patient management accurately and timely.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum with a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Certification in occupational therapy or foreign-trained equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • National Provider Identifier.
  • Current CA Occupational Therapy License or eligibility letter prior to employment.
