We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer PRN to join our team at Lakeview Hospital. As a key member of our cardiology services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.
Responsibilities- Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures, including transthoracic, stress, transesophageal, and intra-operative echocardiograms, in various settings.
- Provide accurate and complete diagnostic information to physicians, correlating patient history with test results.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Follow established infection control policies and procedures to minimize the risk of infection transmission.
- Operate various ultrasound equipment and techniques in accordance with clinical practice standards and hospital guidelines.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Certificate within 1 year of employment.
- Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
