Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the operating room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify potential risks and complications.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and laboratory results.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and technologies, applying evidence-based knowledge to improve patient care.
Requirements
  • Current NJ Registered Nurse License
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications preferred
  • One (1) year of related experience preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Bachelors' Degree preferred
