Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will assess clients/patients/residents and design occupational therapy treatments to help them develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform daily tasks. You will work with clients/patients/residents who have functional, cognitive, or behavioral impairments, and provide education and support to help them understand and improve their functional outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct evaluations and provide interventions for clients/patients/residents with functional, cognitive, or behavioral impairments
  • Develop and implement occupational therapy programs to help clients/patients/residents achieve their goals
  • Provide education and support to clients/patients/residents and their families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
  • Licensed in the state(s) of practice as Occupational Therapist
  • Certified through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) when working at a Sanford Health Facility
