Job Summary:

The Healthcare Radiographer performs medical imaging examinations under the direction of a physician. This part-time role involves producing and processing x-ray images, instructing patients, and collaborating effectively with the clinical team.

Responsibilities:
  • Producing high-quality x-ray images of specified body areas
  • Positioning and instructing patients regarding x-ray procedures
  • Performing x-ray procedures using portable machine as requested
  • Processing films for radiologists reading/interpretation following established procedures
  • Communicating with patients, families, healthcare team members, and physicians
