Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients with acute and chronic pulmonary issues.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop strategies to improve lung function and overall health.
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or complications that may arise.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
- Current licensure by the North Carolina Board of Respiratory Care.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications preferred.
