Ferreira Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a skilled Underground Lineman to join our team. As an Underground Lineman, you will be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and repairing underground electrical lines and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work safely with energized and de-energized electrical systems
  • Lead crew members in the absence of the Foreman
  • Perform new construction, maintenance, or repair work of energized and de-energized underground work
  • Install and remove mechanical jumpers
  • Use a load bust tool
  • Inspect rubber goods and PPE
  • Travel and work in various locations as needed

Requirements:

  • Must be a qualified Distribution Journeyman Lineman
  • 3+ years of experience in URD work on FPL system preferred
  • Valid CDL Class A
  • Ability to operate a Line truck and Mini excavator
