Warehouse Checker

We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Checker to join our team at Plumbers Supply Co.

The Warehouse Checker will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of outgoing orders, handling products, and preparing shipments with the utmost care.

• Verify customer orders against pick tickets to ensure product type and quantity are correct.
• Pack and stage orders according to customer instructions and branch operating procedures.
• Document any discrepancies and communicate effectively with personnel to resolve issues and correct orders.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to manage warehouse inventory.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and accessible warehouse environment, adhering to safety regulations.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 0-1 year of experience in a warehouse environment; forklift certification preferred (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to physically handle the demands of the job, including lifting up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Good communication skills, with proficiency in English required for reading, writing, and speaking.
