Job Overview

Turner & Townsend is seeking a seasoned Senior Preconstruction Estimator to provide expert estimating, benchmarking, and commercial management services on a global technology client's massive data center construction program.

The successful candidate will be confident in reviewing Mechanical and/or Electrical Subcontract packages and buyout, and will possess excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert estimating services for hyperscale data centers from RFP through to construction completion, managing key relationships with the client, general contractor, and project team.
  • Develop Project Capital Estimates using a bottoms-up approach.
  • Lead the training of templates & tools for the general contractor to ensure submissions are compliant for commercial analysis.
  • Provide detailed comparative analysis of commercial submittals from the general contractor.
  • Lead the commercial review of the competitive bid process for major trades.
  • Support the project delivery team with post-contract cost analysis & change order reviews.
  • Benchmarking integration to ensure accurate data capture.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in preconstruction estimating and commercial management.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
