Job DescriptionAs a Critical Care Nurse Specialist, you will provide comprehensive care for patients with complex diagnoses, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing nursing assessments and collaborating with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
- Establishing realistic, measurable short and long-term patient goals with interventions put in place as needs arise to minimize rehospitalizations and continued evaluation of outcomes.
- Administering medications and performing treatments per physician orders.
- Delegating patient care responsibilities to staff and supervising them to ensure that tasks and interventions are implemented.
- Communicating patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.

To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A graduate degree in nursing from an approved school and current licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
- CPR Certification.
- One to three years of experience working as a RN in a related setting.
