Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Litigation Paralegal. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in the management of complex cases throughout the litigation process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to ongoing litigation matters.
  • Analyze and summarize legal information to assist attorneys in building strong case strategies.
  • Assist in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Maintain organized and current electronic and physical case files from opening through the closing of files.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Requirements:

  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment driven by multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to manage and effectively prioritize a large number of projects at the same time.
  • Positive, pro-active, professional attitude, with a strong desire to learn about law with a focus on litigation and employment law.
  • High level of initiative and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Complete discretion and ability to work with confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recent graduate or current student pursuing a degree in which legal studies, business, government, or employment is a component of the degree.
  • Prior internship or work experience in a legal setting.
  • A paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program.
