Production & Assembly Associate - ONSITE - CHARLOTTE, NC

The Production & Assembly Associate is a key member of our team at ScentAir, responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials and the successful completion of daily production work orders. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Unload, inspect, and sign for delivered materials from various sources
- Process material transactions in the ERP system, following receiving processes and distributing materials to warehouse locations or QA areas
- Follow established procedures, housekeeping guidelines, and safety regulations
- Utilize Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures to efficiently produce required products
- Perform pre-assembly tasks, such as insert preparation or product labeling, and post-assembly tasks, such as final cartridge assembly or packaging
- Use a tabletop pump and scale to pour oil into cartridges and fill to defined quantities, following established procedures
- Complete required information on work orders, validating raw materials consumed
- Avoid cross-contamination of finished goods by maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate progress and any problems that arise during production runs to management, including issues that prevent achieving daily production goals
- Responsible for finished goods inventory accuracy, periodic physical counts, and management of shipping supplies
- Responsible for shipment accuracy and on-time delivery for orders to customers
- Make recommendations for productivity improvements and assist in implementing required changes to optimize processes
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively orally
- Must have ability and knowledge to drive a motorized pallet lift and pallet jacks for moving and placing inventory
- Willingness to work overtime, including occasional Saturdays, to accomplish urgent production goals
- Is a team player with the willingness to fill in at any position as needed
- Must be punctual and have good attendance
- Has respect for people, standards, and facts

The employee is frequently required to sit, use hands to operate a computer and calculator, and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand; walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
