Job Responsibilities:
  • Install and service HVAC systems and products according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform work safely and professionally, timely, and accurately in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Follow directions provided by the Lead Installer Service Technician related to the scope of work.
  • Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specification.
  • Have knowledge of HVAC theory and HVAC electrical theory.
  • Premeasure jobs to identify proper materials required for scope of work.
  • Perform the installation of household appliances as needed.
  • Receive, verify, and load all equipment and materials needed for each job and maintain stock levels on truck.
  • Maintain the company's vehicle and notify management when maintenance is required.
  • Assist and train associates as directed by management.
  • Complete all required paperwork prior to the end of the shift.
  • Perform all readings on test instruments and understand the importance of these readings.
  • Follow national, state, and local mechanical, electrical, and plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Ensure the office dispatcher/supervisor is aware of job status and any delays that may occur.
  • Maintain all company tools in good working order and ensure all tools are safe to use.
  • Perform work in a professional manner and ensure customers are always treated with respect.
Requirements:
  • Must have a Journeyman's license.
  • Must be EPA 608 certified.
  • Completion of a trade program in an applicable field is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC installation, service, and related HVAC tools and test instruments.
  • Two years of experience in HVAC installation and three years of experience in HVAC service are preferred.
