We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the AdventHealth La Grange Hospital Center for Bone & Joint. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provides direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implements and monitors patient care plans, ensuring effective communication and coordination with the healthcare team.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders, prioritizing patient needs and safety.
- Assesses and coordinates patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred or currently enrolled in BSN Program.
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association obtained prior to hire date.
- Registered Nurse credential from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date.
- One year of Ortho Med/Surg experience preferred.
