About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Material Handler III to join our team at CEVA Logistics. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods and materials within our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer service skills, providing timely communication and instruction to internal and external customers.
  • Lead and train staff, prioritizing and assigning work to ensure seamless operations.
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment, including heavy and oversized pieces, with precision and care.
  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, and equipment within assigned areas.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.
  • Complete and verify forms, documents, labels, and other information to ensure accurate inventory and successful receiving and delivery of goods.
  • Oversee warehouse maintenance tasks, identifying potential operational or service concerns and notifying appropriate colleagues.
  • Prepare and assemble orders, pick and count material, move and load materials between operations or trucks.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED; typically, at least five years of warehousing or related logistics experience.
  • Forklift Certification typically required within 3 to 6 months of hire; valid state-issued driver's license preferred.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools, including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and related warehouse equipment.
  • Basic proficiency in Internet, web-based, and job-specific software applications.
  • Ability to prioritize and assign work, provide training and guidance to staff, and respond promptly and professionally to customer needs.
