About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced EVS Supervisor to join our team at Frontier Management (OR). As a key member of our housekeeping and laundry department, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Department Leadership: Supervise and direct the housekeeping and laundry department, ensuring that all activities are coordinated and executed in accordance with company standards and regulations.
  • Staff Management: Interview, hire, and orient new staff members, as well as train and develop existing employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality assurance rounds and inspections to ensure that our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Inventory Management: Forecast and plan the purchase of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment to ensure that the department has the necessary resources to operate efficiently.
  • Staff Scheduling: Plan and coordinate work schedules to ensure that adequate services are rendered and that staffing levels are maintained at all times.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including inventory, compliance, income/expense, and personnel records.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with members of other departments to coordinate housekeeping activities and ensure that our facilities are maintained in a clean and safe condition.
Requirements
  • Education: Four-year college degree and equal related experience strongly desired; high school diploma/GED required.
  • Experience: Two years of experience in housekeeping services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision is desired.
  • Skills: Skilled in motivating and supervising staff members, excellent interpersonal skills, customer service, and quality attitude.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
