The Swift Group is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Architect to join a cutting-edge technology program supporting a key government customer.

This high-profile program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure, including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services, virtualized applications, and storage systems.

Enterprise Computing Engineering services comprise modern application technology, including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow functioning both on customer premises and via remote Cloud services.

Network infrastructure engineering services include core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management, and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls, and bandwidth service delivery.

This position offers a fast-paced, challenging, and career-rewarding experience providing solutions on one of the most complex programs within the government.

Located in the Dulles, VA area, this role requires 16+ years of relevant work experience.

Must have significant experience with Python, Java, Automation, and Systems Design.

Deep understanding/experience in Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google, IBM, Oracle) is essential for designing solutions addressing complex needs for multifaceted applications and IT systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic direction, roadmap, and standards
  • Creating and maintaining architecture design and standards
  • Developing high-level system specifications
  • Supporting the Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC)
  • Collaborating with Engineers regarding design solutions
  • Evaluating current and emerging technologies

Prioritizing independent work while possessing an aptitude for achieving results.

Knowledge of modern software languages, configuration management tools, containers, and Agile development principles is beneficial.

A BA/BS Degree or five additional years' experience in lieu of a degree is required, as well as US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.

Desired qualifications include Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Security Development Operations (SecDevOps), web applications and frameworks, Infrastructure as Code, and other related skills.
