El Especialista en Enfermería Práctica (LPN) es responsable de la supervisión independiente de la atención brindada a un grupo de residentes en una unidad de enfermería, con orientación del Director de Servicios de Enfermería.
El LPN asistirá con las necesidades de los residentes, proporcionará atención de enfermería, evaluará la atención de enfermería, administrará medicamentos y completará tratamientos. Supervisará directamente a los asistentes de enfermería en la entrega de atención.

RESPONSABILIDADES:
- Supervisar y proporcionar atención a los residentes a través de evaluaciones y valoraciones con la orientación del Director de Enfermería.
- Proporcionar y mantener la atención y comodidad óptimas de los residentes demostrando conocimientos y habilidades consistentes con las prácticas de enfermería.
- Transcribir órdenes médicas de manera apropiada y precisa.
- Administrar medicamentos y completar tratamientos según las necesidades de los residentes.
- Supervisar y evaluar el desempeño de los asistentes de enfermería.
- Ayudar a lograr el cumplimiento de las regulaciones locales, estatales y federales.
- Evaluar la efectividad del plan de atención y realizar cambios al reconocer la necesidad.
- Solicitar retroalimentación de los residentes y/o familiares para determinar si se están satisfaciendo las necesidades.
- Seguir las políticas y procedimientos de la empresa, la instalación y el departamento, y utilizar adecuadamente el juicio profesional de enfermería.
REQUISITOS:
- Pasión por cuidar y mejorar la vida de nuestros residentes.
- Licencia LPN vigente.
- Capacidad para administrar medicamentos/certificación IV preferida.
- Experiencia clínica reciente; habilidades especiales en geriatría preferidas.
- Buen conocimiento de las reglas/regulaciones estatales.
- Actitud positiva y excelente asistencia.
