We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Shift Data Center Facility Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a key member of our InfraOps team, you will be responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of our data center facilities in northern Virginia.
Key Responsibilities- Execute the InfraOps vision and goals, ensuring the highest standards of safety and security in our data centers.
- Engage in improvement projects, driving them from conception to completion, and collaborating with various support teams to achieve results.
- Coordinate daily with third-party vendors to ensure adherence to contracted Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Effectively manage the operations budget and expenditures, recommending and overseeing policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and SLAs.
- Coordinate change management resources, provide weekly reports to the Data Center DCEO Cluster Manager, and write and deliver performance reviews for staff.
- Maintain the on-call schedule, coordinating absence and vacations of direct reports, and recruit and train technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 1+ years of leading a team of technical professionals in a 24x7 mission-critical environment.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with polygraph.
