Position OverviewWe are in search of dedicated Physicians who are committed to providing the highest quality of care in a Family Practice setting.
Our Practice EnvironmentOur collaborative team consists of 10 Physicians and Extenders who work together at the highest level of their capabilities. Detweiler Family Medicine stands out with an on-site urgent care facility, and several of our Providers are qualified to conduct Medical Marijuana referrals, as well as DOT, Immigration, and FAA examinations.
Ideal Candidate ProfileWe are looking for a patient-focused Physician who is willing to go the extra mile for their patients and is capable of treating individuals of all ages and backgrounds. The ideal candidate will possess:
- MD or DO Degree with Board-Certification in a primary care specialty.
- A valid and current medical license to practice in Pennsylvania.
- A valid DEA and CDS registration (or proof of application).
- Willingness to obtain certification in Medical Marijuana, immigration, DOT, or FAA examinations.
- Newly graduated residents are encouraged to apply.
- COVID Vaccination is required.

The role involves:
- 32 Face-to-Face Patient hours during operational hours.
- Evening shifts twice a week until 8 PM, and every 5th or 6th Saturday.
- Managing 24-26 patients per day.
- Participating in a call rotation for 7-9 weeks per year, conducted by phone only.
- No rounding, admitting, or hospital work required.
- No work on Sundays.
