Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Dishroom Supervisor to join our team at Pacific Palms Resort.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires working nights, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within all back-of-house Food & Beverage areas.

Responsibilities
  • Clean the kitchen, including all equipment and implements, hoods, walls, ceilings, and ensure the exterior of all equipment is clean.
  • Clean employee cafeteria equipment, including walls, steam tables, queen mary, refrigerators, warmers, etc.
  • Clean the kitchen floor, wash floor mats, pick up all refuse in the kitchen, empty all trashcans, and clean them.
  • Clean the loading dock, including the floor and organizing the area.
  • Follow dumpster procedures and transport equipment, such as mats and trashcans.
  • Maintain knowledge of floor maintenance, chemical use, and OSHA regulations.
  • Clean pots, pans, and other cookware utensils as requested by the supervisor.
  • Keep the cookware washing area clean and neat, ensuring the dish machine is properly cleaned and maintained.
  • Store cleaning items in the proper location and organize chemical supplies in a specific area.
  • Complete other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in dishwashing and pot cleaning in a kitchen environment.
  • Prior experience in food and beverage preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A valid Food Handler's certificate is necessary.
  • Excellent customer service skills and basic knowledge of sanitation and cleaning products are essential.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team and possess a great personality.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Estimated Salary

$40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience.
