As a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping students enhance their communication skills and achieve academic success in a dynamic school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student, ensuring effective and personalized interventions.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic student support.
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and adapt therapy strategies as necessary to meet educational goals.
  • Collaborate with school staff to promote an inclusive and supportive educational environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
  • Valid California SLP license.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred.
