Hershey Outpatient Surgery Center is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our Perianesthesia Team.

We are looking for an experienced RN with ICU or recent PACU experience. This part-time position is Monday through Friday, dayshift, offering a work-life balance with weekends, nights, and holidays off.

As a multispecialty surgery center, we provide a wide range of services, including orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, GYN, pain management, ENT, and plastics. Our patient population includes pediatric and adults throughout the lifespan.

Job Summary:

The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct, organize, coordinate, and implement all nursing care services for pre- or post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care.

We will provide the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • At least one year experience as a RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit.
  • Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
  • Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
