Job Summary:
StaffPhysicians is seeking two experienced Gastroenterology Hospitalists to join our team at a hospital in New Mexico. As a Gastroenterology Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a hospital setting, with a focus on gastrointestinal procedures and patient management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders, including endoscopy and other procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Board certification in Gastroenterology or Internal Medicine with a focus on Gastroenterology
- Current medical licensure in New Mexico or ability to obtain licensure
- Experience with endoscopy and other gastrointestinal procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
