As a Dysphagia Therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing patient care by providing comprehensive evaluations and treatment plans for swallowing disorders, dysphagia, and communication issues.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating patients to determine the need for skilled speech therapy intervention relative to their prior level of function.
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans that focus on functional and measurable outcomes, based on physicians' orders and adhering to professional standards of practice.
  • Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Collaborating with, coordinating, and participating in training programs for community staff, patients, families, and rehabilitation staff.
  • Participating in continuous quality improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

This salary range is estimated based on industry standards and location. We offer a competitive compensation package and opportunities for growth and development.
