Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join their team in Mountain View, California.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and fluoroscopy units, to produce high-quality images.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring the proper disposal of waste.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills.

Requirements:

  • One to three years of experience as a Radiation Technologist or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as operate heavy equipment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
