The salary range for this position is $362,000 - $421,000.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated critical care trained neurologist to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional care to patients with neurological emergencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for programmatic activities related to the delivery of patient care.
  • Round in the unit and manage or co-manage all neurocritically ill patients; ensure appropriate 24/7 coverage in the unit by the Neuro-ICU team.
  • Optimize the triaging of patients to and from the Neuro-ICU, utilizing performance improvement processes in ensuring best practices.
  • Actively integrate and coordinate Neurocritical Care throughout the Medical Center, including, but not limited to the Department of Imaging, Department of Laboratory and Pathology, Department of Neurology, Department of Neurosurgery, the Emergency Department and other critical care units. Provide coverage as needed for consultations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Medical Degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certification in Neurology and Neurocritical Care.
  • Unrestricted California license as Physician.
  • Demonstrated competence in continuous quality improvement processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and a commitment to developing and fostering a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach in the delivery of patient care.
