Position Overview

As the Inventory Management Lead, you will oversee a dedicated team of Inventory Management Representatives. Your role will involve maintaining all aspects of Bin Reviews and establishing clear goals and objectives. You will direct daily operations, ensuring that departmental procedures and standards for inventory management and C-Parts (CPS) functions are upheld for your assigned customers.

This position requires a significant level of physical activity, including the ability to lift weights of 40-50 lbs regularly. You may also be required to travel as needed to support operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the Inventory Management Representatives to meet sales, service, and logistics objectives
  • Plan work schedules and assign tasks to ensure optimal staffing and performance
  • Participate in the hiring process and provide constructive feedback to the HR team
  • Address personnel issues, complaints, and formal grievances
  • Contribute to budget considerations for delivery vehicles and inventory management needs
  • Identify training needs and develop training programs for Inventory Managers and staff, ensuring compliance with company and safety regulations
  • Act as a backup for the IMR Manager during peak workloads

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Fleet Management, Inventory Management, Customer Service, or a related field
  • Supervisory experience is preferred
  • Must possess a current Medical Certificate and comply with driver selection criteria
  • A CDL may be necessary for certain leadership roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with vendor-managed inventory systems and warehouse operations
  • Ability to lead and coordinate efforts across various functions within the organization
