Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our float pool team at Avamere Family of Companies. As a key member of our nursing team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our mission to enhance the life of every person we serve.

About the Role
As an LPN with AvaStaff, you will have the opportunity to work in various skilled nursing facilities within the Seattle area. You will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care, preparing and administering medications, and reviewing medication cards for completeness and accuracy. Additionally, you will communicate changes in patients' clinical condition with physicians, nursing supervisors/ managers, and coworkers as appropriate.

Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain rapport with nursing staff, other department personnel, residents, family members, and all other individuals involved in resident's care.
* Prepare and administer medications and review medication cards for completeness and accuracy.
* Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care.
* Supervise execution of the resident plan of care and participate in development of the plan of care.
* Communicate changes in patients' clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.

Requirements
* Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
* Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN in this state.
* Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
* Must chart nurses' notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident and resident's response to care.
* Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems.
* Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

Salary and Benefits
$40-$45/hour DOE.
