Job Summary:

We are seeking a CAD drafting technician with at least 2+ years of relevant experience working on Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Plumbing drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed designs for MEP projects using AutoCAD, Revit, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
  • Develop process flow diagrams and one-line drawing updates for various MEP systems.
  • Conduct walkdowns and review and adjust CAD/BIM models to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage drawing sets and ensure they meet project requirements and standards.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with project teams and external engineering firms to gather requirements and execute designs successfully.
Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $68,160 - $89,472 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek and 52 weeks of work per year.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of design-drafting experience for MEP projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD is required; Revit is a plus.
  • Ability to understand, create, and modify MEP as-built drawings.
  • Familiarity with facility process piping (Compressed Air, Nitrogen, water systems, etc.) is helpful.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with project teams and external engineering firms.
