A skilled Polysomnography Specialist is sought to join our team at St. Peter's Health Partners. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in performing various types of sleep testing procedures, identifying abnormalities, and adhering to Department standards to produce high-quality records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sleep testing procedures, including polysomnography and multiple sleep latency testing.
- Identify and document abnormalities in sleep patterns and other relevant data.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in sleep medicine and technology.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Care and New York State licensure in Respiratory Therapy with an SDS (sleep disorders specialist) add-on.
- Graduation from an accredited Polysomnography program with an AAS, registered (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomographic Technologists and valid Polysomnogram License in NYS preferred.
- One to three years of experience in a sleep lab, with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Pay and Benefits:
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education, with a pay range of $30.00-$43.50 per hour. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
