Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Crisis Coordinator, the CARES Clinician will provide intensive therapeutic intervention services to youth and families experiencing high-intensity psychological and emotional problems. This role requires a trauma-informed approach, critical thinking, and risk management skills to ensure the safety and effective transition of clients to alternative services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide intensive therapeutic intervention services to youth and families in a community-based setting
  • Maintain professional, empathetic interactions with families and stakeholders
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans and provide evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention services
  • Communicate with the DPBHS team and stakeholders to maintain a systems-based approach to stabilization and transition
  • Document cases from intake through discharge
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an accredited school in a Human Services field
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • Education/training in suicide risk prevention and intervention (preferred)
  • 2 years' experience in evidenced-based or evidenced-informed child and family interventions (preferred)
