Nursing Instructor

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Nursing Instructor - Adjunct to join our team at Frederick Community College. As a Nursing Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching nursing students in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
About the Job:
This is a part-time adjunct faculty position that teaches nursing courses as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in nursing education and a strong commitment to student success.
Responsibilities:
- Teach nursing courses to students with varying skill levels and abilities.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students achieve their goals.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant data.
- Participate in department meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials.
- Stay current with developments in nursing education and incorporate best practices into your teaching.
Requirements:
- A master's degree in nursing or a related field from an accredited institution.
- At least two years of experience in nursing education, preferably at the community college level.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Maryland.
- Ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Information:
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. This estimate is based on industry standards and market research.
