We are recruiting a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our cardiothoracic surgery team at Buffalo General Hospital/Gates Vascular Institute. This full-time position involves working with a busy cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) and requires prior experience in cardiology or cardiothoracic surgery or ICU management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for caring for post-operative cardiac and thoracic surgery patients, including those on ECMO, IABP, Impella, and preoperative surgical evaluations. They must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly with colleagues and patients.
