Job DescriptionWe're seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to refine their skills, tackle exciting challenges, and make a real impact in a dynamic true teamwork environment. As a key member of our team, you'll:
- Design and implement controls systems for various automated equipment, including robotics, AGVs, vision systems, PLCs, HMIs, and more.
- Dive into technical challenges, programming robots, writing PLC code from scratch, working with electrical control devices, and ensuring seamless integration.
- Program machines, power them up, and debug to ensure they meet specifications using proven techniques and approaches.
- Contribute to project bill of materials development, scope and specification meetings, and coordination with our technical build group.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent expertise.
- 5+ years of related experience in controls engineering, with a strong background in PLCs, HMIs, robotics, mechatronics, motion control, and vision systems.
- CAD proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or other schematic design software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand electricity and industrial control circuits.
