Automation Specialist

With 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and documenting controls systems for automated equipment, you'll collaborate with automation professionals to push the boundaries of what's possible with cutting-edge technology.

We're seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to refine their skills, tackle exciting challenges, and make a real impact in a dynamic true teamwork environment. As a key member of our team, you'll:

• Design and implement controls systems for various automated equipment, including robotics, AGVs, vision systems, PLCs, HMIs, and more.
• Dive into technical challenges, programming robots, writing PLC code from scratch, working with electrical control devices, and ensuring seamless integration.
• Program machines, power them up, and debug to ensure they meet specifications using proven techniques and approaches.
• Contribute to project bill of materials development, scope and specification meetings, and coordination with our technical build group.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent expertise.
• 5+ years of related experience in controls engineering, with a strong background in PLCs, HMIs, robotics, mechatronics, motion control, and vision systems.
• CAD proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or other schematic design software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand electricity and industrial control circuits.
