Physical Therapist Specialist for Long-Term Care and Rehabilitation

The Good Samaritan Society is a not-for-profit organization that has provided over 100 years of housing and services to seniors with a commitment to quality care and service in a Christian environment.

As a Physical Therapist Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering physical therapy programs that help clients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.

You will conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions on clients affected by injury or disease, utilizing tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards.

Your role will involve documenting client information for evaluation, establishing therapeutic plans, and modifying them as necessary. You will also educate clients and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises to be continued at home.

In this position, you will demonstrate knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related treatments and evaluations relating to the needs of clients. You will also incorporate current research into daily treatment of clients.

The salary range for this position is $34.50 - $57.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

This position requires licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice and may require a valid driver's license. Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers is required within the first 60 days of employment.
