Overview:

Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for circulating duties in surgical services with minimal support. You will facilitate case turnover and OR efficiency, prepare cases according to preference cards, and notify service line coordinators of any updates needing to be made. You will also consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Additionally, you will review charts for completeness, ensure the Operating Room is prepared with necessary supplies, and participate in counting sponges, instruments, etc. during surgical procedures.

Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current Alabama RN license or current Multi-State RN License in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama are required.
