Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician/CMM Programmer to join our team at Express Employment Professionals. As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of aerospace components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform precision measurements and inspections of aerospace components and assemblies using CMM and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to verify product compliance with dimensional and quality requirements.
  • Document inspection results, non-conformances, and deviations, maintaining detailed records in accordance with company and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues, recommend improvements, and ensure that corrective actions are implemented effectively.
  • Conduct regular audits of production processes to verify adherence to quality standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as required, supporting the quality management system (QMS) compliance with AS9100 and other relevant standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quality Technician or in a similar quality inspection role, preferably in aerospace or a similarly regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in the use of precision measuring tools and equipment, including CMM and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Strong understanding of quality control processes and inspection techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect and document non-conformances accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and standards such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.
