Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Slotting Coordinator to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for optimizing inventory storage and retrieval processes to ensure efficient and safe warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize Manhattan software to slot products in all warehouse areas, promoting a safe working environment and maximizing warehouse efficiency.
  • Perform accurate slotting of new items and daily slotting moves to increase productivity and cases per pallet.
  • Monitor and respond to Slot Check inquiries to answer internal questions about item placement.
  • Support Inventory Control to research and reconcile damaged product.
  • Support daily replenishment priorities to promote warehouse efficiency and reduce spoilage.
  • Perform regularly scheduled audits (aisle audits, rack labels, TI/HI, and pallet put-aways).
  • Communicate daily with warehouse leadership about work status, receiving errors, or safety concerns.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of experience in a warehouse administrative or clerical position.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent telephone and customer service ability.
  • Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills with a good knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to solve problems of limited scope.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to support others in the department and division.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior slotting experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service Regulations.
  • Knowledge of our geographic delivery area.
Work Environment

The work will take place both at a desk and in normal warehouse environments, including cooler and freezer areas where temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees.
