The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care to our residents in a long-term care setting. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate and individualized care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care to residents of all ages, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
• Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilize appropriate age and population-specific standards related to the physical and psychosocial needs of the resident as per care plan.
• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents, and contribute to the assessment of residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed, and document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
• Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
