Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Travel Nurse RN to provide exceptional patient care at our facility. This role requires a commitment to high standards of nursing practice and patient safety.

Certification Requirements
  • Illinois Nursing License: Required
  • CPR Certification: Required
Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality patient care by executing treatments and procedures in accordance with established protocols.
  • Monitor patients closely and report any adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
  • Administer medications as permitted by policy, licensure, and the State Practice Act.
  • Respond promptly and safely to patient requests, and communicate significant observations to the supervising RN.
  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of the patient's care plan and provide care in alignment with established standards.
  • Contribute to the planning of patient care by offering insights to the RN and assisting in the implementation of care plans under RN supervision.
  • Maintain knowledge of hospital and nursing policies to ensure compliance.
  • Recognize emergency situations and initiate appropriate nursing measures within the scope of practice, seeking assistance as needed.
  • Educate patients on self-care according to the established teaching plan and RN directives.
  • Document all aspects of patient care accurately.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Current Illinois Nursing License
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza
Work Schedule
  • One shift per week
  • Shift Timing: 7 PM - 7:30 AM
