Job Summary
We seek an experienced Real Estate Transactional Attorney to join our in-house legal team. This role will assist with complex matters related to the Affordable Equity and Affordable Preservation businesses, including acquisition, disposition, and financing of real property interests. A strong background in tax credit syndication and affordable housing is preferred.

Responsibilities
This position involves providing effective counsel in a collaborative environment, contributing to the development of affordable housing projects, and working closely with our talented team. Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with transactional matters, including contract review and negotiation.
  • Counseling clients on compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conducting due diligence on investment opportunities.
  • Maintaining accurate records and files.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
  • A Juris Doctorate degree from a top-tier law school.
  • At least 4 years of experience as a real estate transactional attorney.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
