Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sourcing and category management strategies to achieve cost savings and improve procurement processes.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure best value for Maximus.
  • Manage procurement expenditures and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement procurement strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement and category management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, category management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Experience with procurement software and systems, such as Coupa or other Procurement Business Spend Platforms.
