Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse position is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients by assessing their status, prioritizing problems and needs, implementing clinical nursing interventions, and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the surgical team to create a safe environment
  • Manage patient care within the OR and coordinate with other care providers
  • Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care, including assessment and discharge instructions

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in your state
  • BLS certification; ACLS or PALS certification preferred
  • Two years of experience in a Critical Care department; completion of OR internship program preferred
