Job Summary

Viva Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Aide to join our team. As a Resident Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and care for residents on a daily basis, following individualized care plans and assignments.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
  • Observe and record assistance with prescribed medications, as per assignment.
  • Report any changes in resident condition to supervisors and document observations.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a positive and respectful environment.
  • Assist with ordering room service and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of resident living areas.
  • Participate in in-service educational programs and maintain required safety and building checks.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work well with peers and maintain a congenial work environment.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must adhere to Viva Senior Living's attendance policies and follow the terms and conditions of employment.
  • Annual health requirements, including a negative TB skin test and COVID-19 vaccination, must be met.
Physical and Sensory Requirements
  • Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Ability to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
  • Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics to ensure the requirements of this position can be fully met.
  • Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility.
