About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at Bay Area Dental Care in Texas City. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our team of dedicated professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for all patients.
  • Prepare and maintain dental equipment, instruments, and supplies, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest dental procedures and technologies.

Requirements
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology, with experience in a patient- or customer-centered environment.
  • Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification, as required by the state dental practice act.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure seamless patient care and team collaboration.
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Dentrix or other dental software experience to streamline your workflow.
  • Dental assisting school certification to demonstrate your expertise.
